About Michael
I am a Cybersecurity enthusiast, specializing in blue team defense strategies. Having recently graduated from Colorado State University in August 2024 with a degree in Computer Science and a concentration in Network and Security, my passion lies in proactively protecting digital environments from potential security threats and developing robust defensive mechanisms.
My focus is on creating resilient security infrastructures that stay one step ahead of evolving cyber risks. I am committed to continuous learning and applying cutting-edge defensive strategies to safeguard digital assets.
My Story
Rooted in Libertyville, Illinois, my journey began at Carmel Catholic High School, where I balanced academic pursuits with a passion for baseball and personal growth. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

My love for the outdoors drew me to Colorado State University, where I pursued a degree in Computer Science. Beyond the classroom, I immersed myself in the university's cybersecurity club, laying the foundation for my professional interests in digital defense.

Graduating in August 2024 marked not an endpoint, but a launching pad for my cybersecurity career. Since then, I've been actively expanding my knowledge in blue team security, continuously learning and preparing for my next professional challenge.

When I'm not diving into cybersecurity challenges, you'll find me exploring the great outdoors – whether it's casting a line while fishing, hiking through mountain trails, or camping under the stars. These experiences fuel my problem-solving skills and provide a perfect balance to my technical pursuits.

Currently, I'm actively seeking opportunities to apply my cybersecurity expertise and contribute to protecting digital infrastructures.
